An Environmental Engineering Management Program for Military Hardware Acquisition

This paper presents an Environmental Engineering Management Program (EEMP) based on the requirements of Section 4 of MIL-STD-810D, as implemented at ADA, ISRAEL. The aims of the EEMP are to:

a. Provide project management with an overall view of the environmental engineering effort; testing costs, manpower and test equipment requirements

b. Assure efficient involvement of the environmental engineering activity in project plans

c. Assure an efficient test plan that considers budget, schedule and other limitations, and

d. Enable systematic collection of important data during the course of the testing.
