Reliability Testing—Challenges and Trends

Recent advances in reliability testing during the last two decades have started the process of changing the perspective of the reliability community toward this form of testing. This paper briefly examines the range of reliability testing concepts with a concentration of reliability growth testing. These concepts offer a challenge to the product reliability community with relation to the sequence and types of reliability testing currently in use by the community.
