Vital Precautions for Fungus Testing

Fungus testing has been around in earnest since World War II. The environmental testing literature does not describe safety precautions to protect the technician from falling victim to the fungus being worked with. This is a first-person account of what did go wrong while working in an uncontrolled Aspergillus-laden atmosphere. A list of commonsense precautions are presented. The ramifications and symptoms of not instituting the precautions are also presented.
